Vitamins and Supplements

Dose per day:

Vitamin B-stress complex

Vitamin C-1000 mg X 2

Vitamin D-a blood level can be done, most people over 50 are deficient

Vitamin E-400 IU

Chromium Picolinate-200mcg, some controversy here, reducing insulin resistence is the goal

Evening Primrose Oil-500 mg, important for men and women

Fish Oil-1200 mg (enteric coated) X 1 or 2

MSM-1000 mg X 1-4 (or more for chronic conditions), MSM is an organic form of sulfur and is one of the most plentiful substances occurring naturally in the body.  It should be thought of as MUCH more than joint help.  Topical cream also.

Pro Biotics-L. acidophilus and other beneficial bacteria

Psyllium Husk or other fiber supplement

Selenium-80 mcg (often included in a stress B formula)

Yerba Maté-tablet form, a tea from Argentina, it is a very balanced stimulant and is much richer in antioxidants than green tea. (I personally give this supplement much credit for keeping common colds so rare in my life.)

Zinc-30 mg (often included in a stress B formula)
